VR Mobile allows users to connect to an ObserVR1000 Dynamic Signal Analyzer or VibrationVIEW for real-time vibration test monitoring through an iPhone or iPad. In addition to connecting to these systems, the app offers a range of engineering tools, including calculators, a light strobe, a noise sound pressure level (SPL) meter, and an accelerometer - all accessible from the convenience of your mobile device.

Connect to nearby ObserVR1000 Dynamic Signal Analyzer & DAQ:
- Setup inputs, record, and monitor data.
- Live FFT Analysis.
Remotely control VibrationVIEW from within the VR Mobile App (while on the same network):
- Start/Stop tests.
- View graphs.
- Adjust amplitude and frequency.
Max Acceleration Calculator:
- Calculate the maximum acceleration output of a shaker (from a database) based on the added mass.
Unit Converter:
- Convert Acceleration, Force, Mass, Velocity, and Displacement units to and from common units.
Sine Calculator:
- Calculate Acceleration, Frequency, Velocity, and Displacement based on sinusoidal motion inputting any two values.
Shock Calculator:
- Select between Plastic or Elastic impact types; this calculator will determine the remaining values given two inputs.
Noise Meter:
- Measure minimum, current, and maximum dB using your mobile device's microphone.
Accelerometer:
- Measure minimum, current, and maximum acceleration on each axis of your device's accelerometer. Calibrate for surface unevenness by zeroing out acceleration.
Strobe Light:
- Strobe your device's screen and/or flash LED from 1 - 30 Hz to visualize fast-moving objects.
